Innovation, costs, deadlines are the basis for new global rules governing competitiveness

In order to compete at world level, it is vital to introduce continual innovations in processes, organization and technology :

• The major Prime Contractors have demonstrated that by using digital technology in a collaborative environment, costs and manufacturing cycles could be significantly reduced : design quality improved by a factor of 10, assembly cycles and costs reduced by a factor of 2, a 20% reduction in procurement costs, etc.
• A continual lowering of costs and delivery times in addition to the growing competition from countries with low labour costs make it necessary to use digital technology in all forms of business (sales, purchasing, design, production, support, etc.), and to extend digital technology to customers, cooperants and partners, as the Prime Contractors only produce 30% of their goods.

• In suppliers management, it can improve the performance and quality of the supply chain, reduce stocks, reduce administration costs, improve traceability and compliance through SCM (Supply Chain Management) solutions : Supplier Portals, logistics exchanges, e-procurement, e-sourcing, …
• In customers management, it can boost sales, increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, by the adoption of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solutions : Customer Portals, e-services (spare parts/repairs, documentation, etc.)
• Within the company itself, it can strengthen collective efficiency and capitalize on knowledge: collaborative tools, Employee Portal, Knowledge Management (KM), etc...
